Documents stay in this workspace tab

Original files, extracted text, edits, and session activity are held in browser memory. Precidoc does not upload them to its servers, Neon, Resend, or an AI provider. They are not stored in localStorage, IndexedDB, or your account. Exported files are saved to the location you choose on your device.

Remove a document or use Clear tab to discard its local data and release preview URLs. Leaving the workspace, refreshing, closing the tab, or signing out clears this session. This does not erase original files or downloaded exports from your device. Persistent history and cloud backups are not available.

Format and resource checks are not antivirus scanning. Use files from sources you trust. DOCX expansion is bounded; macros and executable archive entries are rejected. PDF previews render images rather than executing PDF scripts, forms, or links.

Accounts and third-party services

Neon Auth handles email/password authentication, sessions, and verification. Neon Postgres stores your account ID, verified email, display name, and creation date. Resend delivers verification and account-recovery emails, including the recipient address and temporary verification code or link. These services do not receive document text from the current workflow.

Cloudflare hosts the website and receives standard connection/request metadata such as IP addresses. Infrastructure security logs follow provider settings; we do not promise immediate deletion of provider logs. Fonts and document parsing assets are served by Precidoc rather than external font services.

Email updates and preferences

Newsletter signup requires consent. We store the email, selected language, consent timestamps, and unsubscribe status/token. Each product-update email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops updates; contact support if you also want the subscription record deleted. Account and newsletter data remain until a verified deletion request is processed.

Language, guide visibility and optional statistics preferences are stored locally. Authentication uses session cookies. Documents are not stored in these preferences or cookies.

Optional usage statistics

Statistics are off by default. If you opt in using the footer control, Precidoc sends only allowlisted event names and timing ranges: sample started, account registration completed, first document processed in a workspace session, and processing success/failure. No text, filename, email, account ID, or cross-site identifier is included.

Counts are aggregated by day and timing range, with rows older than 90 days removed when new events arrive. There is no individual journey tracking. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable statistics. You may turn them off at any time; aggregate counters cannot be linked back to you.

To limit abuse, newsletter and statistics requests use a salted IP hash, not a raw IP stored in the application database. Rate-limit records older than 24 hours are removed on subsequent requests. Standard hosting request logs are separate.

Your requests and contact

Email admin@rainc.tech for account access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions. We verify account ownership before acting. Do not email sensitive documents, passwords, or verification codes to support. Self-service account deletion is not implemented.
